Generally, Chorus rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7.00pm to 9.15pm during term time in The Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall. This can be found in The Martin Harris Centre for Music & Drama on Bridgeford Street, off Oxford Road, down from The Manchester Museum’s Cafe Muse. Rehearsals will start at 7.00pm sharp, so please make sure you arrive promptly. There will be several Saturday rehearsals through the season, and you will be expected to come to these too. Members who miss too many rehearsals may jeopardise their place in the concerts.

Absence

Valid excuses for absence will be taken into account, so please contact the membership secretary at attendance@universitychorus.org.uk if you can’t make a rehearsal.

Music Scores

Members can borrow or buy copies of music to be performed from Chorus. Members are individually responsible for copies loaned to them and these copies are to be returned immediately after concerts.

If you forget your copy of music for a rehearsal, it may be possible to borrow a copy for that rehearsal only. This is done by leaving a returnable deposit of £5 or student card with the librarians.
