No matter whether you’re a student at the University of Manchester or a member of the wider community, Chorus is open to everyone. You don’t need to have sung in a choir before and there are no auditions – all we ask is that you attend rehearsals, are available to perform in concerts and can read music.

The Welcome Rehearsal – Thursday January 26 @ 6.30pm

This rehearsal is open to everyone. We won’t be registering this evening so it will be completely free. Simply turn up at The Martin Harris Centre (directions on how to find the Martin Harris Centre can be found here) on Thursday January 26 @ 6.30pm. There will be free wine in the break and a social event afterwards.

The Registration Evening – Thursday February 2, 6.00pm-7.00pm

All members will be registered on Thursday February 2 at The Martin Harris Centre before our second rehearsal. You will also be issued your score of Tippett’s Child of Our Time. If you are a student, please bring your student ID card. Membership for music students is FREE, non-music students £10 and non-students £40.

There will be a rehearsal as usual at 7.00pm so bring your pencil!

Spaces are limited so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
