Announcements 12th November

There will be a coffee morning this Saturday after the rehearsal. Please bring cakes/snacks to make the event as successful as the previous one held earlier this term.
With the December concert fast approaching, please make sure you help with publicity. Take flyers and put them in libraries, churches or give them out to friends. If you are living in halls, please see Anna Haigh who will give you a larger poster to put up.
As well as publicity, please get as many people to come to the Chorus concerts as you can. The entire success of the event depends on the members bringing people and if everyone could bring four people, we would easily sell out both nights. Tickets can be bought at rehearsals, through the Martin Harris Centre Box Office or online via the Chorus website.

This is our first rehearsal of the new academic year, 2010-2011. No auditions, free wine and a social afterwards!

Our Next Concert

Saturday 4th December @ 7:30pm & Sunday 5th December @ 3:00pm 2010 - Whitworth Hall, Manchester University

The University Chorus and Symphony Orchestra join forces for a performance of Haydn's epic choral masterpiece Creation, for soloists, chorus and orchestra.

There will also be a pre-concert performance and talk with conductor Robert Houssart, details available shortly!
